With all this talk of employers checking the Internet on employees and potential employees, should you create an email address and Internet identity just for work (a professional image)? Could they link professional ones to personal ones?

Never put anything embarrassing on the internet with your real name. Do a google search of yourself, and see what's there that you wouldn't want your boss to see.
Reply:I definatly think u should i did. Its better than having ur employer look at sum type of cute or outrageous email address. I did the first 3letters of my name 1st 2nd n last. My sister has the first 3 letters of her 1st n last ending wit da yr of her birthdate, for sum examples.
