How to create an email address...?

I have a friend, who's trying to join Yahoo, and last night we tried to set her up with an email, but when we tried to put in her alternate email, it said it was invalid. We did all kinds of stuff, and it wouldn't work. What now? any suggestions.

follow steps to verify the email address


then recheck the my account link to see if it says verified

Remove Alternative Email Address





left click and hold mouse


move mouse over the email address


tap back space on keyboard


click finished


add a new one


(you need to have atleast one alternative email address)

Reply:Do not put anything in the alternate email address box. Leave it blank. It should work. I have several email addresses and I never enter any alternative address. I never have a problem.
