what happens to the other/original email address. will i have to check both or can it be the new one only and if i do a new email address will it mess with my xbox360 account

you will have to check both of them....no matter how many new ones you get, you will still need to check them...unless you tell everyone you're new e-mail and stop checking the other one, eventually the other one will get cancelled if there isnt any activity going on

Reply:creating the new one means it is a fresh one. the old will be there..
Reply:just check the new email id , the old one will remain, don't check it.
