How do I change the email address on the members page, from the one that I used to create the group, to anothe

I have only 2 addresses in My Account. One is the Yahoo email address that I used when I created the Group. The second is the one labled "Primary" and "verified". I want the primary one to show up on the Members page of my Group but instead, the Yahoo address stills shows there.

Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups


This will pull up a list of all Yahoo groups of which you are a member.


Locate the group that you are speaking of. On the far right side of page and on the corresponding line, click on the down arrow. Select the address you wish to use for that group.


Click Save Changes.

To remove an email address from your Yahoo! Groups account, the address must be removed from the Alternate Email Address section of your Yahoo! Account Information page. Remember that any groups you subscribed to using the address will no longer be accessible until the address is linked to a Yahoo! ID.





To change the Yahoo! ID that the email address is linked to, simply sign in with the correct Yahoo! ID and use the Membership Wizard to add the email address to your account.


**this is how you do it. at the top of a group it says My Account- click and you'll have to sign in. you'll see your addys listed there, click the first edit you see, and you'll see Alternate Email 1, Alternate Email 3- Alternate Email 3 and don't forget to click Finish-

go to group page, just below the ugly ad in the middle click on


' Edit Membership'- page loads, look for "Email Address


Choose the email address that you would like group messages sent to" choose that e-mail you're talking about. what you choose here is what will show up on the members list
