Can I report him? What will the authorities actually do???

hi just wondering, what would be your best course of action would be to cal your internet service provider and explain what has happened and ask them to change your password with a new id name. then what they will do is replace your id with a new one. but let them know then they can keep an eye on your old account then if he crosses the line it would be up to them to bring charges against him. sorry you are having this problem but with time it gets easier good luck hope i was helpful to you
Reply:If he is sending things which harm your reputation to the point where you lose jobs or business, and you can prove it, then yes, that is defamation of character and is illegal. If he is just sending out silly things, send an email to everyone you know telling them that someone is sending out SPAM from an address which looks very much like your name, and they should please disregard anything which does not come from your official email address, which is .....
Reply:post that email address on a lot of sites and say no one can hack me and when his pc get hacked you will have the last laff.
