I forgot my user ID and had to create a new one. How do I get my email address back?

Why would changing my user ID change my email address.?


really need my old address back. I have answered all of the questions correctly. But wow this is awful. Thank you,Karen

If you're referring to Yahoo mail, then your user ID *is* what makes up the first part of your e-mail address, the part before the @yahoo.com... if you set up another user ID, that sets up another e-mail address and it would know nothing of your old one.
