Is the "Create an extra email address" form broken?

In the "Mail Accounts" option of Yahoo! Mail, it gives the option to create an extra email address under the same account. If I click, "Get Started," it takes me to a form to create the address. If I type an invalid or unavailable address and click "Check Availability," the form returns an appropriate error message. However, if I type a likely original address and click "Check Availablitity," nothing happens. The form appears to refresh itself with no indication of what to do next. Therefore, I am unable to create an address.

I am a Yahoo! Mail Plus subscriber using Firefox on Windows XP.

It worked for me. Not sure if your firewall is preventing it?

Reply:I'm having the same problem, and this answer isn't helpful since I have no clue how to disable or get around the firewall. Any concrete advice? Report Abuse
