How can I find out what state an email came from? The email address was created to harass me & then cancelled.

I received an email with the address nevermindwhoiam123@yahoo.com. It had harassing content. When I tried to respond, I found that the address had been discontinued. The email was sent on 6/10/06 and no longer existed by 6/12/06? How can I find out where it came from? Can I at least find out the state?

sorry but you need to to the IP and onley your mail server has it and it is in high security levels





if you have the ip you can trace it
Reply:Open the header of the email and then copy and paste it into a new email you compose.





Now send it to abuse@(ISP for that person) It's in the header.
