If I create and extra email address in Yahoo....?

to link it to my current account, am I able to change the name that pops up when someone receives it? Example: right now it says Mary Smith, can it be changed to Mary Schneider? I was starting the process to create and extra address but didn't want to get too far if I couldn't do this. Thanks for the help.

Click on the Options link in the right corner of your yahoo mail page.


Click on General Preferences.


change name and or change email address to reply to


Go to the bottom of the page and click the "Save" button.

go to mail page at top you will see welcome and your user name (OR) click my account


put in password


choose edit


then change email address
